The readers and their stuffed animal friends started the evening off with a storytime led by Ms. Madelyn Lombardo, Lansing Central School District’s Buckley Elementary Teacher-Librarian. The children, adults, and animals alike enjoyed the stories – thank you so much, Ms. Lombardo! The stuffed animals stayed at the library overnight and had a “wild” time (see slideshow below). They romped through the library, played, read books, and finally, put on their sleep masks and bedded down for the night. In the morning, the animals were happy to be picked up by their readers so they could show them their individualized book of sleepover memories.
