A group of scientists at the Yang Center at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology have been listening to underwater sound from around the globe for thirty-five years and counting. By developing and applying innovative technology locally, our Lab is helping people everywhere tune in to the voices of creatures dwelling in the oceans, both small and large — from shrimp to whales. Through listening to these songs of the sea, we hope to inspire communities to dive deep into the science and join in on the conversation together.
Kids, adults, and families are welcome!
This program will be held at the Lansing Community Center (right next door to the Lansing Community Library) at 11:00am on Saturday, July 9th.
