Join the Johnson Museum of Art for a creative, nature-inspired art experience! Drawing inspiration from wildlife in volcanic regions, artist Alexis Rockman uses natural materials to tell stories through the shapes of animals. What story can you imagine within a bird’s beak—or the claws of a fox?

In this hands-on workshop, Carol Hockett from the Johnson Museum of Art will guide participants in creating their own animal-inspired stories using watercolor techniques. This family-friendly program is open to all ages.
