May is blooming with fun at the Lansing Community Library!
We’re diving into a month full of stories, movement, creativity, and a little bit of magic. From bubbles to birds to fairy gardens, each week brings something new to explore and enjoy together!
Here is our May lineup:
🎂 Birthday Story Time | Thursday, May 7 at 10:30 AM
Ms. Shelley will share It’s My Bird-Day by Mo Willems, followed by a collective classroom celebration of everyone’s birthdays—filled with music, activities, and lots of fun!
🐦 Birds & Worms Story Time | Thursday, May 14 at 10:30 AM
A reading of Earl & Worm by Greg Pizzoli, along with a craft and movement activities that will have everyone chirping and wiggling along.
🎈 Balloons & Bubbles Story Time | Thursday, May 21 at 10:30 AM
A magical morning filled with sweet stories and hands-on bubble and balloon activities. This STEM-based discovery time is sure to delight learners of all ages!
🧚 Fairy Garden Story Time | Thursday, May 28 at 10:30 AM
Magical stories paired with a fairy garden planting activity that teaches children about growing and caring for plants and flowers.
